When is solar energy most efficient? When is the best time to install solar energy?

Solar energy is at its highest efficiency during the summer months when there are longer days and more direct sunlight. However, the exact number of times per year can vary depending on factors such as location and weather patterns.

In Norway, the amount of time solar energy is in a high-efficiency state each year varies depending on the location and season.

In the southern regions of Norway, there are approximately 1,300 to 1,700 hours of sunlight per year, while in the northern regions, there are only 900 to 1,300 hours of sunlight per year. The summer months of June, July, and August typically have the most sunlight and therefore the highest efficiency for solar energy production.

The best time of year to install solar energy is typically during the spring or fall, when temperatures are mild and there are fewer weather-related installation delays. However, solar energy can be installed at any time of year as long as weather conditions are suitable for installation.
